That didn't taste like fish...

So I went out with my friend Mikey Snyder last night. Mikey and I go way back, well about 6 years anyways. The most profound thing that Mikey ever told me was..."Don't date my brother - you're better than him." I should have listened, but in the end Mikey and I have stayed great friends through the years even with his crazy sarcastic buttheadedness that boys do. You know like when they are one person when you are alone and then a complete jerk when other people come around. Yeah that was Mikey for about the first 5 years. But I absolutely adore him and always saw through his facade and would never give up on him because I knew that I truly knew who he was even if he didn't want the rest of world to see how fabulous he is.

So Mikey came in town for one night - so of course I drop everything and hang out with him. So he takes me out to dinner - to the Bellagio Buffet. Honestly the best buffet I have EVER been to. They had HUGE crab legs (that were already split for you and still had tons of meat) and jumbo shrimp, and sushi, and prime rib, and oh goodness I could go on forever, but the food was amazing. So I'm in the seafood area and I'm behind Mikey and he picks up some "African Bluenose". It looks alright so I grab some too. I assumed this was fish. I'm not a big fish fan so I was skeptical. But when I ate it - it was SO good!!! I loved it. And that surprised me because - hello - I don't like fish.

So this morning at work I decided to 'google' African Bluenose to see what this tasty little fish looks like...and to my surprise what pops up but a picture of the UGLIEST snake I have ever seen! AHH - I ate a snake! And it was TASTY! I guess I'm glad I had no idea, but still...what a shocking discovery.

That snake is so gross. I've now decided that if I don't know what it is I'm eating, I'm not gonna eat it.

Love the blog. It's such a great way to keep up with friends.

I'm telling you ladies..it was tasty. You should try it. And Silvia - no way am I eating any of those things you you listed. You're going to have to work VERY hard to disguise it if you're going to try to pass it off as food to me.
