How much longer...

So work has been a BIT out of control lately I must say. It just seems like every decision I make or everyday that I'm not there to carefully watch over my programs/staff/desk space, etc SOMETHING goes amuck! That's right - I said it...AMUCK! Last week I think I cried everyday. I could seem to do anything right and my boss was having a bad week and was kind of taking it out on all of us. Plus you know - the normal drama that happens when you stick 4 women alone in a room together. Let me just tell you that I definitely have the most testosterone in that room!

This week is not exactly shaping up that great either. I mean it is definitely not as bad as last week. But I had to fire my first staff member today and it was sad because they were actually a good employee they just made a TERRIBLE TERRIBLE decision. What can you do? I have an event this Saturday that has been stressing me out a bit, but hopefully it will be great and I can bask in goodness next week.

Other events coming up - I am performing in the "Forgotten Carols" play this year. Just in the choir, but I'm really excited. I miss singing. I haven't done it in a while and I particularly miss the Christmas season performances I used to do...so this is a nice little trip back down memory lane.

The count down has begun. We are just shy of 16 days until mom and I leave for Jerusalem. I can't even believe that I will be walking where the Savior walked and visiting incredible places like the Garden of Gethesemne. I am truly truly truly blessed in that regard. I can't believe I am able to have this opportunity. I know it will be an experience that I'll treasure for the rest of my life. And I'm totally stoked to share it with my mom.

I hope your even goes well today! You are going to have an amazing time in Jerusalem and luckily you'll be able to catch all of it on film and video. I can't wait to see how it all goes.
