Hallelujah

I survived. That's right. It happened. I survived the 2008 event season for work. Yep. I thought once I was transferred out of the events office my life would slow down and it would be SO nice not to work so hard at the events. What I didn't realize was that the people who worked my events for me were JUST as worn out as me. I have a whole new appreciation. But this last Saturday marked the last event of the year. Hallelujah!! It started off super rocky and I will be the first to admit - I was not happy and it showed. I was STRESSED. I couldn't believe that some things were overlooked during set up that really should not have been. But at about an hour or 2 into the event everything calmed down and the event went smooth. The participants loved it and that's all that matters in the end.

Other Hallelujah items: Forgotten Carols is TOMORROW. Hallelujah. I love being a part of it, but it's one more thing that I can get off my plate. I can't wait.

And let's not forget - yep that's right! There is only 11 days left until I leave for Jerusalem! I can't tell if I'm nervous or excited. I've had too many emotions lately to really feel anything completely so right now I'll say excited!
