A New Addition

We would like to announce the coming of a new addition to our family......

Our first sprout!!  (haha) It's a soybean plant and we're very excited for it.  It's the first thing to peak out of our new garden beds...exactly 1 week after we planted.  Maybe my thumb isn't as brown as I thought!?  Or at least so far it's pretty green!  Here's hoping we have bushels of soybeans to munch on soon!


As far as update on the family - we are all doing well.  The girls are very excited that school with be out in just 3 weeks.  We're hoping to do a drive down the coast as a family for our summer vacation after I survive Girls Camp of course.  But mostly they are excited to play in the pool!  And Ed has been working very hard to get it ready for the warm weather.  I was here a lot last summer, but now that I'm here full-time I hope I can make it a super fun summer for the girls, filled with pool time, bike rides, and trips to the lake.  I have high hopes so we'll see what the summer brings!
