I had great intentions today to do so many things - like disinfect my house from all the germs of two sick girls for the past two days, do that laundry, clean the kitchen, etc. But after the gym I was looking at my bookshelf and I noticed my "Biggest Loser" books that I bought and literally NEVER read. So I thought I should read those...and that's what I did today. Something one of the chapters really caught my attention.
The chapter focused on before you make ANY changes to your lifestyle you should really identify WHY you want to lose the weight. Because if you don't have a solid reason you are more likely to quit. The chapter went on to discuss many reasons, but the one that caught my attention was "to gain self-confidence". It mentioned how it is SO easy for everyone (men AND women) to point out everything negative about themselves. And especially those of us that struggle with weight can REALLY easily point out the parts of our body that we don't like. The chapter emphasized that we need to stop that immediately and suggested that you make a list of everything you love about yourself and continue this list during your journey -- adding to it as you start to achieve that body that you always wanted.
I thought that was pretty stellar advice. Love the body you are in and love it more as it starts to form into what you want it to be.
So a few things I love about myself:
1. I have a great complexion
2. I love my eyes
3. My shoulders are sexy
4. I have cute feet
5. Somehow I ended up with a pretty great "rack" haha
