So I entered a Biggest Loser competition. We are on the 4th week of an 8 week competition. I only know one other person in the competition and all communication with the other members is through our facebook group page. We email our weights to a 3rd party who calculates our percentages and then emails the results to everyone. We all pitched in $20 (also sent to the 3rd party) and each week the Biggest Loser of the week gets $20 and at the end the Biggest Loser overall gets the remaining balance. With 43 people in the competition that's some good money! =)
The competition started on my birthday - so no bueno, plus the funeral and traveling = extra no bueno. However I managed to lose 2 pounds (landing me in the #24 slot for the week). Week 2 I was still traveling to Disneyland and San Diego so I was surprised when I squeezed out another 2 pounds (landing me in the #15 slot for the week). Now week 3 was nice because I was home and eating my own food and working out 5 days...so I was elated for a 4 pound loss (landing me in the #3 slot for the week!). I'm hoping for good results tomorrow when I weigh in again, but I'm loving this competition. It's funny just to see what people post on the facebook page and their "methods" for losing weight, them complaining about bad weeks and their bad choices. My friend Jen and I try not to laugh to hard at them, but we are hoping to kill it and take the money home. Jen was the #2 slot last week with an 8 pound loss so she may have more of a chance than me, but I'll be happy for her if she beats me. After all this is her first really serious attempt at weight loss and with her recent health issues she has overcome alot! She needs that extra cash to treat herself for all her hard work.
It's been a lot of fun and made going to gym not such a chore! =)

That is awesome, but you really don't have that much to lose. Although that might be an advantage in your case. =) Good luck and I hope you win the moola!!
