OKAY FINE!

My lovely sister Angela has "gently prompted" me to update my blog for sometime now...so HERE YOU GO ANG! lol

So I think I just forgot about this blog and got so busy with things that I never came back. I even had to remind myself that I had one! Okay so what has happened since April 27th?

I had a boyfriend - who turned out to be a TOTAL loser...which okay I pride myself on being honest here. I knew from day 2 of the relationship that I shouldn't date him. That's right....I'm an idiot. I mean don't get me wrong....I liked him, but SOMETHING nagged in the back of my head. I revealed that "nag" to several people and I got a variety of responses like "you're just being picky", "you can't break up with someone for NO reason" or when I would come up with a reason I got: "that's a stupid reason to break up with someone" "do you have committment issues? cause it seems like it.". So I pulled through...I stayed with this guy. Then! I went out of the country. My fabulous friend Lisa and I went to NY/Paris/London for our birthdays (which was AMAZING) and when I came home - I found out this guy/loser had cheated on me while I was gone. Soooo...people don't mess with me and my internal nagging. Big lesson learned there. Don't stay with someone simply cause everyone else thinks you should. But the great part about being a single LDS girl...the DAY I dumped him...I got asked out on a date for that night...and it's been a dating frenzy ever since.

So NY/Paris/London like I said was AMAZING. While in NY - Jack & Sharon were there as well and we all went to see Mary Poppins on Broadway. So great. Our hotel was LITERALLY around the corner from Times Square...and was so chic...TEENY but chic. We took NY by storm and conquered.

We both fell in LOVE with Paris...and crepes. I think we ate like 2 or 3 a day. We explored Paris on beach cruiser bikes...totally the way to see it.

London was slightly more bland...we honestly just didn't have enough time there. We hit it on days/times that just weren't convenient so we missed out on things we wanted to see, but we still had a great time and enjoyed what we did get to do.

In July Lisa, her sister Christie, and I went on a rafting trip/girls trip. We were strong women and went camping and rafting in Moab. I LOVE LOVE LOVE Lisa and Christie and we had a total blast. We were hoping for a hot rafting guide, which we almost got - but last minute we ended up on a boat with a girl, but ended up having a blast anyways. We flirted with the guy guides on the breaks - so no loss.

I've been playing around a lot since then - beach trips to Laguna, trips up to UT to visit my sister, visits to San Fran to see Jebba. Lots and LOTS of fun.

Work has been CRAZY! We are in the middle of this huge re-org and somehow I got the short end of the stick. Meaning I will now be doing the job that was previously done by 3 people. Yeah me. I have a new supervisor and a lot to learn in a little time. Oh yeah...and no raise. Oh well that's the economy right now. BUT the highlight is I get my OWN office. 4 solid walls and a door..that LOCKS! I am going to love it! Now I just have to get the keys.

Other great news...I have purchased a house. I am a big girl now! It's a beautiful 2 story, 3 bed + loft and 2 bath. We will be filing closing paperwork next week and I could not be more thrilled. Now I just need paint and ceiling fans and I'm golden!!
